Thrift shop General info for September 2009

 

The Thrift Shop is always looking for volunteers!  Don't let anyone tell you there isn't anything to do; there's always SOMETHING that needs to be done! 

 

We always need help on Saturdays with our big "Bring Your Own Big Stuff" (BYOBS) sale.  This is the first Saturday of the month sale where we allow one day consignments of large items that we can't normally take, such as:  Furniture, Bicycles, Scooters, Lawn Ornaments, Electronics of all kinds (TV, stereo, boombox, computers, etc).  Pretty much anything that is on our

normal "Do Not Take" list.  We hold this portion of the sale outside.  The regular consignments are still taken inside and are good for four weeks.

Come on in and volunteer, or shop, or better yet, volunteer AND shop!  The bargains are simply amazing and we volunteers truly enjoy working together!
