Welcome to Texas and Randolph AFB OSC!

Once again, we begin that all encompassing PCS season and the dreaded word that affects each member of the military family…Change! And with that change come new names and faces, new bases and new areas of the world that we thought we would never live in. So it goes to those of you who may be heading our way to sunny…hot…and humid…San Antonio. I, as the new ROSC President, wish to welcome each of you here to RAFB and hope that you will look not just to me but to the many other capable governing board members if you are wishing for more information on our officers’ spouses’ club here on RAFB. I am hoping that you would feel free to call upon me, either by e-mail or by phone, even if you have questions concerning the surrounding communities, school districts, housing and family activities. If I am unable to provide the needed info, I am sure I can direct you to someone who would know. San Antonio is filled with many adventures and no matter where you hail from, you can find varied and eclectic programs for any member and age within your family.

I encourage you to take the step and get involved with the ROSC and if possible, serve on our board. We are always in need of co-chairs for many of the positions and each year we need newcomers to give their thoughts, ideas and opinions on how best we can serve not just each other, but to our base organizations and area communities. My military spouse philosophy/motto is “We Also Serve”.
